Eagle Pool & Ice Rink is seeking enthusiastic youth and adult ice skate instructors for the 2025–2026 winter season. Instructors will teach skating fundamentals using the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, providing a safe, fun, and supportive environment for participants. Responsibilities include supervising skaters on the ice, demonstrating proper techniques, assisting with lesson planning, and assessing participant progress throughout the program.

POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Ice Skate Instructor
Location: Eagle Pool and Ice Rink (Eagle, CO)
Schedule: Part-Time; Seasonal; September – April, Thursday afternoons/evenings
Work Environment: Work hours and days may vary, including evenings and weekends. Position may require long periods of standing or physical activity. Works primarily indoors, with regular exposure to cold temperatures within the indoor arena.
Supervision Required: Works under the supervision of the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink Facility Supervisor and Facility Coordinator
Supervision Exercised: None
Salary: $25.00 per class, DOE; staff in this position are eligible for a $1/hour incentive for Spanish/English bilingual and can pass the language competency test.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Statement of Duties: Provide Learn to Ice Skate program instruction and supervision with some independence. Teach progressive skills that are fundamental to the sport of ice skating. Promote an environment consistent with program philosophies and goals.
