As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you’ll be the tactical engine behind our marketing efforts—executing campaigns, managing events, producing content, and supporting business development. You’ll lead the creation of visual and multimedia content, coordinate internal communications, and play a key role in RFP execution. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented marketer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

At Geffen Mesher, we value transparency and equity in compensation. The compensation offered for this position will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: years of relevant experience, unique or specialized skill sets, education, licensure, internal equity, and location. The estimated salary range for this position is $64,000-$74,000.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social platforms
  • Write and edit content for the website, newsletters, brochures, press releases, and advertising
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including deployment and list maintenance
  • Support SEO and Google AdWords efforts; monitor website analytics and performance
  • Lead the creation and editing of templated graphics, video content, and visual assets
  • Ensure all visual content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals
  • Execute the production of RFP responses, including formatting, writing, and coordination
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager on messaging and strategy for RFPs and client-facing materials
  • Lead execution of internal announcements, messaging, and communication requests
  • Support shareholder presentations, speeches, and media interview prep
  • Lead planning and logistics for firm-sponsored events, seminars, and sponsorships
  • Coordinate vendors, venues, promotion, branded materials, and on-site support
  • Manage branded item inventory and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop recruiting content and materials
  • Support employer brand awareness campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with departments to support firm-wide initiatives
  • Assist with annual marketing planning and budget tracking
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and uphold firm values
  • Support general marketing department needs and administrative projects
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed

What Makes You a Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a similar discipline preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development (professional services preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social media best practices
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and detail-oriented
