Project Manager & Roof Inspector – Bigfoot Roofing

The Opportunity 

We’re hiring a Project Manager & Roof Inspector to lead our Tallahassee operations. In this role, you’ll serve as the on-site point of contact from initial inspection to project completion, maintaining clear communication with homeowners, subcontractors, and the leadership team. 

You’ll be supported by proven systems, a trusted brand, and operational infrastructure from our headquarters. We’re looking for ambitious professionals ready to grow with us in a new market. 

Daily Responsibilities 

• Lead and coordinate on-site activities for residential roofing projects, including siding and gutter installations. 

• Manage and support field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth, efficient project execution. 

• Perform daily job site inspections to track progress, resolve issues, and enforce safety and quality standards. 

• Inspect roofs for damage and repair needs. 

• Take clear, detailed photos and measurements. 

• Assist in preparing inspection reports for insurance companies. 

• Follow safety protocols at all times. 

• Work closely with homeowners, sales teams, and office staff to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

• Maintain project timelines, track materials and labor, and communicate updates to the Production Manager. 

• Conduct pre- and post-job walkthroughs with homeowners to ensure satisfaction. 

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer installation guidelines. 

• Train and mentor crew members to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 3+ years of hands-on residential roofing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role (preferred). 

• Roofing, construction, or inspection experience preferred. 

• Ability to identify storm damage to various roof types. 

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail. 

• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights. 

• Strong understanding of residential roofing systems (asphalt shingles, metal roofing, etc.), as well as siding and gutter installation methods. 

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (a company vehicle may be provided). 

• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
