LMSW – Individual Counselor (Community-Based)
Location: Midlands, South Carolina
Status: Full-Time (30 hours/week) | Salary: $48,000 annually (Exempt)

As an Individual Counselor, you will play a vital role in the healing journey of our clients by:
Providing clinical assessments , crisis intervention , and short-term counseling for survivors of IPV/DV
Delivering trauma-informed , CBT-based one-on-one therapeutic services
Completing comprehensive psychosocial assessments
Referring clients to appropriate programs or outside agencies
Collaborating with our Clinical Team for case planning and therapeutic support
Maintaining accurate documentation and case notes in the Empower database
Participating in ongoing professional development, staff meetings, and VSP training (12 hours/year)
What You Bring:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (LMSW) or Counseling (LPC) – required
Licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina
Knowledge of IPV/DV dynamics and trauma-informed care
Strong clinical skills, especially in crisis response and short-term counseling
Excellent verbal and written communication
A heart for advocacy, healing, and empowerment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
